Product Details

Chevy G-Series 1985, Slip-On Style Rocker Panel by Sherman®. Don't ignore scratched, chipped, or rusty rocker panels just because they're out of the average line of sight. Make your vehicle's appearance perfect in every detail with Sherman rocker panels that are designed with OE quality and durability in mind.

  • Factory original quality at a reasonable price
  • Ensures OEM look, function, and durability
  • Backed by a limited lifetime warranty

Rocker panels are the lowest body panels, so they are susceptible to scratches, dents, and chips left by stones and gravel. As these panels are located close to the ground and almost hidden from the eye, a damage is often ignored, but when it comes to a show-quality look of your vehicle, every part matters. If your rocker panels are seriously damaged, it could be not only a cosmetic but also a safety issue, as they play an important role in the structural integrity of the underbody. With Sherman, it's easy to restore your vehicle's look and still have cash in your wallet as it offers replacement parts that ensure OE quality and long-term performance.

Whether you own a vintage car or a new family vehicle, Sherman carries the right replacement parts for a variety of years and models. Thanks to Sherman, the owners of old and rare vehicles don't need to scour the boneyards in search of a quality donor or modify panels from other models. Sherman offers replacement body parts that fit, function, and install the same as the original but cost much less, so the owners of newer models can get OE-quality rocker panels without paying high dealer prices. Most Sherman rocker panels provide a direct fit for ease of installation, with no modifications needed. Slip-on rocker panels are basically patch panels and are flat. Factory type includes more metal but they could not be specific. Extended rocker panels extend to the rear wheel opening beyond the door.

Since 1981, Sherman® has been providing high-quality replacement auto body parts, panels, and accessories. With over 25,000 different body parts housed in a 110,000 square foot warehouse in Washington, Michigan, Sherman covers each and every car restoration need. The company offers premium parts for vehicles dating as far back as 1949 and stretching forward to include the latest models. What makes Sherman parts different is meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to deliver exceptional value. That's why Sherman parts are all designed to provide a precise fit and manufactured by experienced automotive stampers, many of whom also supply OEM parts.

What is covered - Sherman offers a limited lifetime warranty on its replacement products such as bumpers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. Radiators are also lifetime to the vehicle's original owner. Accessories carry the full factory warranty from date of purchase. Sherman guarantees its parts to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed and only when installed in accordance with accepted industry standards. This warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use. If failure should occur, or a metal part develops perforation, a new part will be provided without charge. Sherman offers a limited lifetime warranty on its North American plated chrome bumpers.

Sherman offers a 3-year warranty on all of its gas tanks and condensers.

Sherman offers a 1-year warranty on all its overseas plated chrome bumpers. This also applies to those parts, such as door handles, tailgate hardware, cooling fan motors and hydraulic struts which are, by nature, subject to varying degrees of use and wear.

What is not covered - This warranty does not cover labor and other incidental cost involved in installation. Furthermore, this warranty does not apply to any product failure or rust-through resulting from:
1) Accident damage;
2) Improper installation;
3) Damages during shipping;
4) Misuse, abuse or alterations in any manner;
5) Installation without proper undercoating, sealing, or painting;
6) Rust due to overtightening of the bolts on chrome bumpers resulting in cracked chrome around the bolt holes. These bumpers must be installed by hand to torque specifications.

Sherman shall not be liable for any accidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of its parts. It is strongly suggested that parts be inspected and test fitted prior to painting or undercoating. Sherman assumes no responsibility for any cost incurred in refinishing, installation or removal of a product.
