    Product Details

Ford LTD 1971, Problem Solver™ Coil Springs by MOOG®. Quantity: 2 per Pack. Upgrade your vehicle to MOOG coil springs that are designed to restore the original handling, reduce body sway and bring ride height to OE specifications. These coil springs ensure a seamless fit and reliable, consistent function even on uneven pavement.

    Features:

    • Direct fit, with no modifications
    • Restores and retains proper handling
    • Minimizes body sway
    • Heat treated alloy steel for strength
    • Weather resistant finish for protection and longer life
    • All coil springs are 100% load tested
    • Designed to lower stresses for longer service life
    • Protect against corrosion, which can cause coil spring fatigue or fracture
    • Worn or sagging coil springs can cause premature tire wear due to vehicle misalignment

If your vehicle is wallowing in the turns and sagging, it may be time for new coil springs. MOOG coils springs are manufactured from heat treated alloy steel to resist sagging and given an enamel coating to resist corrosion. In addition, some springs come with urethane protective tubes. MOOG coil springs are available in constant rate design, variable rate design, and cargo coil design. Constant rate springs will restore ride, handling, and ride height to OE specs. Variable rate springs change resistance as they compress, becoming progressively stiffer, and are ideal for vehicles that carry heavy loads. Cargo coils provide additional load capacity, support, and stability, and are ideal for commercial vehicles and towing and camper packages.

MOOG® reputation as “The Problem Solver” can be traced all the way back to 1937. That was the year the company first produced a front-end replacement part recognized by mechanics as outperforming the factory original. As years passed and MOOG continued to innovate, the company became known for its ability to consistently develop “problem solving solutions.” Today, hundreds of innovations later, MOOG is recognized and respected throughout the automotive industry as The Problem Solver. It continues to earn that reputation by providing not only problem-solving parts, but award-winning technical support and training materials also.
