    Chevy Nova 1969-1972, Pro Race™ Rear Axle Package by Strange®. Forged from Hy-Tuf alloy steel that was originally developed for highly stressed landing gear in military aircrafts. The material is in the class of Ultra Strength alloys and contains low carbon, high manganese, high nickel, and high molybdenum steel. Pro racing axles are thru-hardened allowing for a Drag Racing shaft with an exceptionally high, 240,000 PSI, tensile strength while retaining ductility.
