A mast-style carrier is the type to have if you're looking for fast and simple installation and you've got multiple bikes to carry, and the ProRack Hitch Bike Rack delivers at an affordable price. With this carrier, there's no need to squeeze multiple bike carriers onto a roof rack and no need to hoist bikes up over your head. This hitch carrier comes ready to install in 1-1/4" receiver hitches, and will fit in 2" hitches with the included adapter. A threaded hitch pin is used to secure the rack to the hitch, which prevents rattle and rack wobble while driving.
Constructed from high-strength steel and powdercoated for appearance and long-term durability, the ProRack Hitch Bike Rack comes in models that can carry up to 2 bikes and up to 4 bikes. It's an easy reach to the bike cradles, where the bikes are secured with sturdy straps, and the cradle's anti-sway feature will keep the bikes stable while driving to prevent bike-to-bike contact and potential damage. A security strap is also included to secure the bikes to the carrier frame, and the included wheel strap should be used to secure the rear bike's front wheel to its frame. The Yakima TubeTop (sold separately) simulates a horizontal top frame tube and can be used to mount kids', girls', and non-standard bike frames. When unloaded, the rack can be tilted back for access to the rear of the vehicle.
Comprehensive, illustrated instructions are included with the ProRack carrier, and it's backed by a limited 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.109.00 129.00

The basic construction of this product makes it a sound hitch bike rack. 2 bolts mount the upper to the hoist; 1 bolt through the hitch, and it's done.1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? YesNoShare this review:
