Universal Trailer Coupler by Yakima®. The zinc plated steel Trailer Coupler is the same design as that which is originally installed on the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer. The Rack and Roll comes with a 2" ball standard, so the 2" coupler can be used as a replacement if the original becomes worn or damaged. The 1-7/8" coupler can be used to replace the standard coupler if your vehicle has a 1-7/8" ball.

The Trailer Coupler connects the trailer tongue to the vehicle via the ball mount. This trailer coupler comes in 2" and 1 7/8" sizes and it's designed to attach to the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer. The Rack and Roll comes with a 2" coupler to fit a 2" ball, so this trailer coupler can be used as a replacement in case the original becomes worn or damaged. However, if your vehicle has a 1 7/8" ball, the 1 7/8" coupler can be installed in place of the original coupler to match your vehicle.
Both couplers are made of zinc plated steel and include an adjustable ball clamp to minimize play between the ball and the coupler, and a latch mechanism that must be securely locked with a safety pin or padlock before the trailer is moved. The Trailer Coupler is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
