Wilwood employs approximately 250 people at Camarillo, California headquarters. Wilwood has on-shelf stock of over 300 different brake calipers, 200 rotor designs, 100 master cylinder designs and a wide assortment of brackets, fittings, valves and brake lines. Wilwood off-the-shelf brake calipers range in size from tiny calipers used on go-carts and light duty industrial equipment, to heavy duty original equipment brakes for the U.S. military Humvee. Wilwood production covers a wide range of applications, from a world-class professional motorsports to the weekend sports driver.
Wilwood strives towards its mission to keep the first place in manufacturing of precisely engineered brake systems, performance disc brakes and components in the automotive aftermarket. Anticipating the nearest future, progress in technology, machine equipment and computer modeling will enable Wilwood to supply the market with even higher performing automotive parts. Wilwood engineering department uses the latest manufacturing techniques in conjunction with finite element analysis, dynamic test and cycle test equipment to find high-performance solutions to the most difficult braking tasks.
Wilwood Engineering produces thousands of off-the-shelf OE products including Wilwood rotors, Wilwood brake pads, hydraulic valves, master cylinders, calipers, pedal assemblies and steering components. Wilwood is ISO 9000 compliant and has extensive experience maintaining quality levels of 100ppm or less for original equipment manufacturers. The Camarillo facility can perform production runs in quantities of hundreds of thousands per annum to dozens per annum, depending on your needs. Wilwood brakes represent a constant pursuit of technological excellence and automotive advancements.
