Took me less than an hour to install both sides by myself. Don't forget to order the separate mounting kit. On one of the rear bolt holes had to remove/push in some expanding spray foam to accept bolt/clamping bar but had anticipated that from previous reviews. Instructions are clear and diagrams helped me find where brackets mount. Only a few sockets with ratchet and torque wrench are necessary. You will need a ratchet extension or two (if small) to access nuts. The instructions accurately listed tools required. If not mechanically, inclined expect installation in approximately 2 hours.

Mounting kit fit great. As promised, there was no drilling required evidently, definitely designed for the this truck. The brackets are very strong and again, they were easy to install and support weight beyond my needs.

The product as shown is a little off than what I thought I was purchasing. For me it looked like the steps mounted to the truck, and you could actually use the straight bar as a step as well, and the steps were meant to be for the shorter people (aka my grandma). A little better descriptions would have been nicer. But all in all, they are a good product and sturdy! The guy I talked to on the phone (I don't remember his name) was very polite and walked me through the whole process.

The mounting hardware and instructions did not match the step bars. They had T bolts that were supposed to slide into a channel that wasn't there. Had to take channel iron and make clips to secure the side steps. Worked out really good in the end though.

The SS steps look fantastic and feel stable when in use. Definitely a quality product. The Dodge dealership was asking for 3 times as much to install their product. Glad I went with these, and the savings were well worth it. Time to install was minimal. Only complaint is the instructions. Not great but studying them and studying the underside of your truck helps. Once you do one side, the second side goes on in no time.
