    About Volkswagen Corrado Trailer Hitches

The VW Corrado is a three door coupe that started being made in mid 1988. It is a car that sits four thus allowing everyone to enjoy the generous space that the car affords. It comes in different trims and the lowest is 1.8 L while the largest one is 2.9 L. There are a lot of tantalizing features that the Corrado comes with especially given its sporty kick. You can have the car perform a whole range of activities by attaching any of the Volkswagen Corrado trailer hitches. When going out on a vacation or a fishing trip, then this car can tow what you want. You will comfortably be able to carry three passengers and at the same time afford to tow your trailer using the trailer hitch. The safety of the passengers and that of the cargo which you are towing is guaranteed once you choose Corrado trailer hitches.

CARiD offers two types of Volkswagen trailer hitches basically. There are the receiver hitches that are meant to receive the male part of the hitch end from the trailer. You will need a bolt or some kind of latch to secure the joint. The shop has all the accessories that you might need when it comes to using the receiver hitch. There are also knob or ball trailer hitches. The ball hitch usually has a ball end at the rear and it is this ball that the trailer is attached to. You will get different types of ball trailer hitches at CARiD, some of which have two or even three balls. You can also get the trailer hitches that have detachable balls. You will get all these and so much more from the shop when you visit it online.

Here at CARiD we have a loyal set of customers, and they are very involved with their cars. That means using them in many ways, or racing them or towing them to car shows on trailers. They know towing, is what we’re saying. And 13 of them left a number of reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. We know you’ll feel the same way after towing your toys around, whether it’s a race car, a trailer full of quads or motorcycles or personal watercraft or full-on camper. CARiD has the parts you need to support your hobby!

When you’re setting up your trailer with a new tow vehicle, several things need to be considered: the ball mount and ball must be rated to take the weight, and the ball has to be at the right height. Once you have determined the proper weight class, choose a ball mount of a high enough class for your trailer, and set up your ball mount and ball for proper towing. Here's how you do that.

"Easy to install. Took about 1hr. VW did it right providing the welded nuts to the frame and a guide as to where to cut for the hitch."

"Hitch is easy to install after the bumper cover is removed. The information should tell the buyer that they there is a possibility of needing a new towing computer model for the car too."

"Curt Rear Trailer Hitch. This was very challenging to install by myself as I am 78 years old, however, the instructions and video plus other visual aids made installation a sort of easy for me (and I am not that mechanically inclined). If I had another person to assist me, it would have been easier, but, the final results were well worth it. The wiring was actually easier than I thought and I am So Satisfied. I will purchase more products. "

"Adjustments are quick, just requiring the pulling of the cotter pins and their cross bolts, sliding the adjustable mount up or down, then re-attaching the bolts and pins. For the price, this mount can't be beat!"
