Adding a pair of backup or work lights to a vehicle temporarily is easy with this unique mount. Mount a pair of auxiliary lights to the mount, and simply slip it into a 2" receiver hitch. Works great if you have a hitch on the front of your truck as well. (Off-roaders often install a front-mounted hitch for winches or other accessories). Great for worksites or camping - Just wire the lights to a trailer plug, and use the vehicle battery to power the lights by plugging in to the vehicles’ trailer socket.

Quality ProductMarch 8, 2013 | Posted by Wayne S. | 2011 Ford F-150 (Allentown, PA)After numerous Internet picture searches, I decided to pay up for the KC HiLites product over the N-Fab product. 3 months earlier, I purchased an Aries bull bar which was aesthetically pleasing, but started to rust at the welds within a month after installation. I did not want to spend an additional $300 to replace with a similar product, but I really liked the quality of the KC light bar. After placing the order, receiving and installing, my buyer's remorse was diminished. First of all, I could put my tow hooks back on. Second, I could now use a front mount license plate that could be seen. Third, the installation was literally 5 minutes. Next came the off-road lights and the bar came to life. This product is a great complement to the front of any truck. It does not detract from the look and gives a tough, low profile appearance. The textured powdercoat is perfect for hiding any road chips that will occur over time. In this instance, you probably get what you pay for. I would have paid half the price for the N-Fab, however the look of that particular bar was less appealing (to me) and the powder coat appeared vulnerable to road wear. Great product that appears to be worth the price.

I wanted more light power for getting to the late night fishing holes and off-roading, they are perfect. I would recommend these lights to anyone who needs more visibility!

While not the same fixture we had purchased for the Bull Bar on the front, they look very similar and have similar styling. Excellent choice for a light bar! Excellent value as well, and I would recommend the product.

We'll see how the light housing holds up in the rain. I would have given all five stars, but the installation wasn't so easy: I had to lengthen the harness about 15 feet to run from a light bar on the bed to under the hood. I had no problems with it, but it could be difficult for some people. The biggest problem I ran into was trying to find a place to mount the four toggle switches.

The brightness from the driving lights is exactly what I need on the back country roads and hunting trails I use. The adjustable mounts are great to point my lights exactly where I need them and for those times when I need a little more light with my low-beam. The only complaint I had was installation. I could not figure it out from the instructions given. I don't think that it was CARiD's responsibility. Otherwise, great product!
