Chrome Hitch Cover with Fleur-De-Lis Logo by Autogold®. Fits 2" hitch receiver, manufacturers emblem is either 23 carat gold or mirror-polished chrome. 100% stainless steel can't corrode. Adds interest to rear of vehicle while keeping dirt, mud, ice and debris from clogging receiver opening. Locks into place with same pin as drawbar.

Constructed entirely of stainless steel, this hitch cover adds a little touch of class to the ugly 2x2 square maw of your hitch receiver when you’re not towing. The plug is 100% stainless steel, and it pins to the hitch receiver with the same pin or locking pin used to retain the actual hitch. The manufacturer’s logo is coined into the brushed stainless steel plate, and then filled with epoxy for durability.
This is a good item to use when you're tired of taking the skin off of your shins by leaving the hitch drawbar and ball in place. Leave 20-30 lbs and a bunch of hard, sharp corners at home when you're more interested in showing off your truck than using it to drag around a trailer.
Leave this cover in place when off-roading or driving around muddy construction sites - or during the winter - to prevent mud, rocks or snow and ice from plugging up the hole in the receiver when not in use.

Its appearance is nice and sturdy, but the fit is a little iffy. The holes don't exactly line up so we can't get the pin through, but it's not a deal breaker because it's not going to fall out! The engineering of it may need some tweaking.
