Rubber bushings are most often used by vehicle manufacturers because they are inexpensive and provide a quiet, soft ride. For most drivers, who rarely push their vehicles to near their limitations, rubber works fine. However, if you push your vehicle, whether it's off-road or high performance street driving, rubber can negatively affect vehicle handling and performance. Rubber has much more give, and rubber bushings compress excessively before the corresponding suspension part moves. This can result in a spongy ride and imprecise handling. Rubber is also negatively affected by the environment. Ozone, oils and abrasive dust and dirt can all cause rubber bushings to crack, rot and degrade.
Polyurethane bushings are much firmer than rubber. Because they won't compress excessively during suspension operation, component motion will be much more precise, for a firmer ride and more precise handling. And because polyurethane is impervious to ozone and most chemicals, your ride and handling will remain firm and precise, without the gradual degradation that is typical of rubber. Polyurethane bushings are direct replacements for the original equipment rubber bushings, and special tools are usually not required for installation.
Rugged Ridge polyurethane bushings are backed by a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.3.91Brand: Rugged Ridge Part Number: 18367.20 UPC: 804314228767

These mirrors are so easy to install. It took about 5 minutes. You can use the existing bolts on the windshield frame, and because it comes with its own, now you have extra ones in case anything happens to your current ones. And when I want to put the doors back on, you can just release the knob on the mounting bracket, and the mirror comes right off, leaving the bracket behind, which is barely noticeable. All in all, this is a really good product for the price that I paid for it.Was this review helpful for you? Bug deflector looks real nice once I was able to install it on my 2013 Jeep Sport. Screws that came with product did not want to go through the metal, so I got my own self tapping screws to do the job, and all was good. Love it and it looks great. Was this review helpful for you? Product looks great. I like the finish, it is easy to install. The only problem I have with this product is that it does not include the hardware. It also looks funny, a black bezel with chrome screws. I ended up spraying the screws black to get a better look. Was this review helpful for you? I received the liners in three days. They fit exactly into my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I got the Jeep logo, and it looks great. I work outside, and the liners hold water and mud great. I am very pleased with them and in the process of ordering the rear mats next. Was this review helpful for you? The product was made of good materials, with a nice look, but the driver's side guard didn't fit completely. I had to literally reshape and cut the guard just so it would mount to fender. I have purchased quite a few parts from here with no problems, guess you can't win every time. Will still use CARiD in the future. Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
