Air pressure naturally changes with ambient temperature, approximately 1 psi for every 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The air pressure in your air springs is under variation because of this and other factors constantly. During the time moisture is removed from your air suspension system by the built-in drier to prevent corrosion, pressure also changes. When air is squeezed by your compressor unit into the springs, it’s at a hotter temperature which eventually cools down – changing the spring pressure as it does. And when one side of your vehicle is parked in the sun, it causes an uneven rise in pressure as well. To ensure even, consistent air pressure inflation throughout your air suspension system, reliable pressure switches are very important.
Air Lift offers the 3/8th”orifice Air Spring Solenoid with 3/8th”female thread taper, rated for 300 psi maximum pressure. It opens and closes on command to allow air pressure to flow from your compressor into your spring whenever inflation pressure becomes lower than a pre-determined minimum setting. Once a maximum pressure has been reached, the solenoid valve closes and the spring is sealed. Air Lift builds solenoids out of corrosion-resistant materials that have been tested to withstand great pressures and temperatures without warping, cracking, or degrading – providing a long lifetime of worry-free service on your vehicle. Because this solenoid secures in place using the female orifice, no bracket is necessary for mounting. A chrome finish provides good looks to match the high style of your entire suspension package.79.82Brand: Air Lift Part Number: 24410 UPC: 729199244100
Founded in 1949 in Lansing, Michigan, Air Lift® pioneered the first rubber air bladder that fit inside coil springs to give pickups and other transport vehicles greater load-leveling and ride-stabilizing abilities. These found wide acceptance on commercial vehicles and were soon adopted throughout NASCAR and other professional stock car racing series after assisting many drivers to achieve victorious finishes. Over the decades, Air Lift® has continued to pioneer innovative developments with air spring helpers and stand-alone air springs for mobile homes, ambulances, and heavy trucks. During the 1990s, the company was on the cutting edge – developing high-performance air springs and complete air suspension systems that allowed extreme lowering, stunts, and higher levels of handling during aggressive driving. Today, Air Lift® is ISO 9001:2008 certified for best business practices, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction and their range of high-quality products is widely respected throughout the industry. CARiD offers the Air Lift® full lineup of full air suspension kits, coil spring helpers, air springs, compressors, air tanks, and more at prices that can’t be beat.Air Lift® 24410 - Chrome Air Spring Solenoid (3/8" FNPT, With Bracket) Reviews (10)

Installed everything inside the rear glove box on my 2012 FJ Cruiser, and routed all air & electrical through 2 rubber body plugs at the rear right side of the truck. Good instructions and everything I needed to install except for the custom mounting stuff, and had to add a few feet of wire to the fuse box lead. As for ease of use and performance of the product, I give it 5 stars for the remote and the automatic monitoring of the pressure. The valve assembly and relay are of good quality. The compressor is plastic covered (doesn't seem like much) but works great. I will only need to use this when I occasionally haul the pop-up 600 lbs tongue (60 psi) or regularly have a 250 lbs load of tools in the back (15 psi), which is the normal operating pressure for my load. Great product for ease of installation and pressure adjusting & monitoring of your rear coil spring bags. Was this review helpful for you? I have been looking into leveling bars because I do a lot of towing. My 03 Windstar only has 350,000 miles on it and I consider it 35% used. Now I can get in and out of driveways without scraping:). The tech support people took their time and called me back in 20 minutes with accurate information for a simplified fix for my needs:). Thank you!Was this review helpful for you? WirelessOne Compressor System is a great product, easy install, no problems, just what I needed. They went on in about an hour, but of course I have my own shop, but the only tools I needed were a piece of chalk, a center punch a drill/drill bits and a few wrenches and voila! it was done. Was this review helpful for you? This wireless system provides the easiest way to be able to stand beside your truck while adjusting the air to your air springs, so you can get an eagle eye view of the air springs at work stabilizing your tow vehicle. Was this review helpful for you? YesNo
