The Daylighter's extremely efficient reflector / lens combination, combined with its rugged shock mount have made it a favorite with off-road racers for many years. The Daylighter's ability to cushion its fragile tungsten filament permits a long bulb life under the harshest conditions. It's a great light for industrial uses like heavy equipment - or anything else that involves movement after dark. The optional 130W bulbs in these lights will throw a maximum amount of light ahead of your vehicle. Available in a spread-beam Driving Light beam pattern or a Long Range pencil beam. Choose between a rugged black painted housing, lustrous chrome plating or corrosion-resistant polished stainless.
The industry standard in high-efficiency lighting is quartz-halogen bulbs. These high-tech bulbs use a combination of pressurized gases inside the bulb to scavenge evaporated tungsten from the inside of the glass envelope, allowing the filament to be operated at much higher, more efficient temperature, providing a brighter, whiter light. This in turn requires a higher-temperature rated quartz glass. These bulbs provide a much more consistent output over their lifespan than conventional tungsten bulbs, which grow progressively dimmer as they age. They also provide more lumens per watt, an issue when you're running a lot of lights at the same time to prevent overloading the alternator and battery.
We always recommend adding a relay to provide full battery voltage to any add-on lights, or the lights may not provide full illumination because of the voltage drop from marginal factory wiring. Not to mention the possibility of burning out the factory harness. Installing this relay and harness is simple and only takes a few minutes.160.63Brand: KC HiLiTES Part Number: 634 UPC: 084709006341

Good buy. Easy install, wiring kit brings everything needed, and lights work great. Aim them straight down the road. They got great distance or just a little to the side and light up everything around you.Was this review helpful for you?
