Universal XP Series™ T409 Stainless Steel Oval Chambered Core Muffler (UM1215S) by MBRP®, 3" Center Inlet / 3" Dual Outlet. These XP Series mufflers utilize a chambered-core construction for a mellower but unmistakably MBRP sound character. They’re fabricated from long-lasting T409 stainless steel, which will never rust out. Use these as a replacement for your OEM muffler, or to fabricate your own custom exhaust system.

By using a chambered-core style of construction, MBRP has assured these mufflers will have not only a mellow tone, but they’ve welded – not crimped – all of the seams for a long service life. Because they use no fiberglass packing, the exhaust note won’t change as the muffler ages. Choose the inlet/outlet style that meets your need, whether it’s a single inlet-outlet suitable for use in single-pipe systems or in pairs for true duals, or a single inlet/split outlet for building a system with dual outlets from a single inlet.

Fifteen years ago, MBRP started in the exhaust business by introducing the B&B Eliminator, a silencer that quickly became the best-selling snow machine muffler of all time. Exhaust system technology being as universal as it is, they soon branched off into cars, Jeeps, and diesel trucks, with amazing success. One of their secrets has been the practice of making as many universal-fit kits as possible. A couple of extra parts in the box means that a single kit might fit a number of different wheelbase pickup trucks, for instance. Reducing complexity in ordering is better for them, better for their distributors, and a great benefit for their customers, who are more likely to be able to find a kit that fits their vehicle on hand. Bang for the BuckFebruary 1, 2013 | Posted by Dereck S. | 2012 Toyota Tundra (Wilmington, NC)The MBRP dual exhaust for my 12 Tundra fit perfectly. 45 min to install with a little adjusting at the end to ensure tailpipe height and accurate length. In comparison to other similar products, the MBRP blows them away based on price. Sound is moderate as advertised, but rest assured at what it grumbles like true duals. Real happy with the product. Can't comment on quality. How long they last will determine that. The only minor hiccup was the driver side hanger mount. Fitment could be a tad better. Overall, very happy with the product.

I have put a Flowmaster Super 44, Magnaflow, and Cherrybomb Extreme on my truck and NONE of them compare to this exhaust! Installation was a pain in the butt because my outlet pipe was about the same size as the tip's smaller end. After several unsuccessful modifications, I ended up buying an adapter at a local auto store that slightly decreases the outlet's diameter. Five dollars later it took me 3 min to put all together.
