Most aftermarket air filter manufacturers concentrate on the filter element; the rigid structure of the filter is nothing more than a support. The engineers at Weapon-R, however, thought that the support structure could also be used to increase airflow. The result is the Secret Weapon air filter. The heart of this filter is a computer designed and flow bench tested velocity stack, which greatly increases airflow, airspeed and air mass into the engine. The Polyurethane filter element flows up to 80% more air and has better dirt filtration than conventional cotton filters. The resultant increased airflow significantly improves engine performance. And the Secret Weapon air filter even provides superior airflow when it’s dirty. The filter element doesn’t clog because the Open Cell Technology foam allows air to flow around the captured dirt.

The Secret Weapon air filter disassembles easily for cleaning, and cleaning is easy because the filter element never needs oiling. The Secret Weapon air filter is available in 3-inch and 4-inch inlet sizes and 6.5-inch and 10-inch lengths. All Weapon-R foam air filters are backed by the Weapon-R Million Mile warranty.

The Secret Weapon air filter is durable enough to withstand many cleanings. To make your filter as good as new, Weapon-R recommends cleaning the filter with Weapon-R’s Foam Air Filter Recharge Kit. Simply remove the mounting screws and disassemble the filter. Spray the cleaning solution on the outside of the air filter. Soak/spray water on the outside of the filter and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the filter in lukewarm water. Shake off the excess water and let the air filter dry.
