Air Filter Recharge Kit by K&N®. The only cleaner and oil authorized by K&N for reconditioning K&N filters.
The K&N Air Filter Recharge Kit includes the K&N filter cleaner and K&N oil. The K&N filter cleaner dissolves dirt and old filter oil so it can be washed away with water. Using any other type of cleaning solution could damage the cotton filter material and void the filter warranty. The K&N filter oil is the only oil specially formulated to work in combination with the cotton fabric in the K&N filter to provide superior filtration. When used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats, where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric.

Now 2012, I decided to clean up my truck in and out and let me tell you that red cone filter was a dark charcoal grey, and after using this stuff, Amazing! Looks brand new.

It makes so much sense to get a filter that will last the lifetime of your vehicle instead of buying a new paper filter. Not only do you get better performance from these filters, you get a little bump in mpg for fuel as well. I always get the re-charge kits to clean and re-oil the filters at specified time intervals. I've used K&N the most and have also used products by Green Filter and Volant Cold Air Intake for my Tundra. One last thing for money-minded folks, these filters pay for themselves in just a few years and will last the lifetime of your auto if cleaned and oiled as specified.

The Best Cleaner for These FiltersDecember 13, 2011 | Posted by Bradley K. | (Taylor, TX)This is the first time I have used the K&N Cleaner on one of these air filters. Previously, I have used other degreasers and dish soap to clean the filters. Using the proper cleaner definitely saved me a lot of time, I sprayed it on and let it sit a little more than 10 minutes and went and hosed it off and it cleaned the filter really well. It performs a lot better than anything else I've used in the past.

Amazing CleanerDecember 13, 2011 | Posted by Bradley K. | (Taylor, TX)I have used the spray version of this oil in the past and decided to try the squeeze bottle version this time to avoid some of the mess. It worked great, just turn the bottle so the little lip on the spout runs down the filter rib and run down the rib. It's definitely slower than the spray, but you don't get oil over everything around you.
