About Toyota Echo Performance Air Intake Systems

The Echo is the kind of vehicle that becomes an important tool in your day to day life because it’s small enough to fit into the tightest spaces and big enough to fit everything you need to take with you. That means that you spend a lot of time driving it so you need it to be running at its best and we have the range of performance upgrades to achieve that goal. Our Toyota Echo air intakes will prove that you don’t even need to spend big money to get some big improvements.

Your engine uses a mixture of air and fuel to run and intake systems determine how much air your engine gets and what temperature it will be when it arrives. We have a range of intakes from cold air intakes that will ensure your engine is getting colder air or short ram intakes which will remove the restrictions put in place by your standard intake so that your engine gets a higher volume of air. Each intake has different strengths and because we have them all you can find the right performance improvement to suit your lifestyle and daily tasks.

Let the engine of your vehicle breathe freely with a quality air intake system. To satisfy the requirement of the most discerning enthusiasts, we've carefully handpicked world-class air intake systems manufactured by the top names in the industry. Engineered to optimize the air path between the air filter and the engine, air intakes provide your vehicle with the maximum airflow and you with a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque. Most aftermarket air filters are constructed from multiple layers of cotton gauze, which are sandwiched between wire mesh that is formed into pleats. The layers of oiled cotton fibers are able to trap dirt particles that are even smaller than the holes in the filter media. The airflow stays consistent between cleanings, for optimal combustion.

"Purchased Injen intake for my '87 Corolla GT-S, and it installed without any problems. I've installed (2) K&N systems: one for a '01 Mustang GT and one for a '97 Suburban. And I've now installed (2) Injen systems: 1 for a '93 GS 300 and now for my '87 Corolla, and I can tell you the Injen systems were better engineered, fit much better, and installed much easier than the K&N systems. Love Injen! Plus, they look and sound incredible."

"Great looking intake, I love the wrinkle black look... So different!! Installation was a pain but it had nothing to do with the intake! The 4Runner's MAF has a tendency to strip out the screws and that's exactly what happened with ours. :( after that, everything went smoothly. Huuuge improvement in sound -- literally I never thought we could get our V6 to sound this throaty. :) Very, very pleased with it. No noticeable increase in MPG yet but it's due for a tuneup so that could be why. Feels peppier too, though not sure if we got a true 20 hp from it. Still worth the money for sure."

"So far, it seams I am getting about 1mile per gallon increase. I don't know about the power yet, but it did give it kind of a throaty sound."

"The overall quality of this product is good, it looks amazing and I'm happy to have bought it. Got exactly what I paid for and could not have been happier. It sounds great on my 3rd gen 4runner but the only setback was that the tube was a pain to get into the throttle body, but after a few hard pushes, it went in smoothly. The MIT came with all the pieces and hardware, I'm really happy with this product and will buy from this site again."
