Snowcat Ski and Snowboard Rack by Thule®. If you don't have a roof rack system with crossbars, you can still transport your skis or snowboards safely and securely. The Snowcat is designed to mount to the side rails only, and its telescoping feature enables it to be fitted to a wide range of roof widths. The rubber arms of the Snowcat grip and hold up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards without scratching surfaces. Four One-Key locks are included to secure the carrier to the vehicle.
Many ski and snowboard carriers require you to have a roof rack with crossbars, but many vehicles come from the factory with side rails only. Now, Thule bring you a high capacity ski and snowboard carrier that mounts just to the side rails – no crossbars are needed, so you can be off to the slopes without having to buy crossbars or a roof rack system. The Snowcat can hold up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards.
Telescoping steel bar adjusts to the width of your vehicle for a precise fit and optimum support.
Rubber arms grip and hold skis and boards securely without scratching the surfaces.
Integrated push button for easier operation.
One-Key™ Lock Cylinders
4 Thule One-Key Lock Cylinders included to secure carrier.
Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
The Snowcat can be mounted to almost any vehicle with side rails, because the telescoping steel bar can be adjusted exactly to the distance between the rails. Installation can be accomplished easily with the aide of the included instructions. Once installed, the carrier can be opened with the integrated push button. Rubber arms gently grip and hold skis or snowboards without damaging the finish. To prevent theft, skis or snowboards can be locked to the carrier and the carrier locked to the side rails with the 4 included One-Key locks.
The Snowcat Ski and Snowboard Rack comes with everything necessary for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
