Designed specifically for the TrailDash EAS Starter Kit Cable, these add-on jacks feature two input ports each that are adaptable with any wiring ends that do not fit initially. The EAS Universal Sensor Input will read any 0.5 volt signal and translate it to a meaningful value for display on the Superchips TrailDash. This means you can customize your TrailDash and make it your own personal command center by adding sensors to read psi for an aftermarket turbocharger or supercharger, air temperature readings from the intake manifold or outside air temperature, or fluid temperature readings of differential gear oil, transmission fluid, or even battery temperature. The possibilities are endless!
Up to 8 additional Universal Sensor Input jacks can be stacked daisy-chain style on the EAS Starter Kit Cable to provide a total of 16 additional readings. Each one comes with an open-ended wire set for adapting any ends that do not. Superchips engineering and manufacturing expertise ensures high quality materials and construction, and the company backs all parts with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
Founded in the United Kingdom as P.J. Detection Techniques in 1977, Superchips was originally involved in racing and became one of the first tuner companies to gain in-depth expertise on modifying engines equipped with electronic fuel injection systems. As engineering expertise grew on a variety of fuel systems and engine types, the company first debuted a line of power-enhancing performance products to the consumer market in England, then worldwide. After changing their name to Superchips in 1991, the company established itself in the United States a year later. The company grew to specialize in hand-held programmers and today remains on the cutting edge of turning modern computer-controlled vehicle functions into creative tuning applications. In 2005, Superchips was acquired by MSD Performance and became affiliated with MSD Ignition, Edge Products and Racepak parts. Today, Superchips USA is based out of Sanford, Florida and performs all production in the United States.
