About Subaru WRX Performance

Whether your Subaru WRX is new or old, it commands immense respect wherever you drive it to. If you want to make it perform better, look sleek and sound incredible, CARiD online is the place to head out to. The shop has the widest range of Subaru WRX performance parts in the market. All the parts are handpicked so as to ensure that quality remains supreme. The exhaust system of your car is the first thing that you need to consider working on. These parts are made using austenitic stainless steel hence guaranteeing many years of servicing your car. The joints of these parts are well refined so that they fit into each other so that turbulence gets reduced when you are driving. If you are not a fun of the greedy throaty sound that Subaru WRX exudes, you can install on it a muffler and a resonator to keep the backpressure low as well as the sound waves. The strict Federal environmental laws have been adhered to when making these aftermarket parts. Top brands to browse here include Magnaflow, Gibson, Zunden, Onki, Borla and MBRP.

Being a sports car, your Subaru WRX needs a lot of air in the engine. The aftermarket air intake systems replacement parts that CARiD sells are wider than the original ones. This enables them to supply the engine with more air hence better fuel efficiency. You should enjoy more horsepower, torque and smoother throttle response from your car once you install on it these parts. Attached to the air intakes are filters which come in handy when preventing any dirt entering the engine system. K&N® - Dual Flange Oval Tapered Air Filter, Volant® - Primo Air Filter and Injen® - EA Nanofiber Dry Air Filter are some of the items to choose from this section. The shop’s experts are ready to answer all of your questions and also give you useful performance parts tips.

Guides & Articles
Very often we don't even realize what a crucial role a car's suspension plays in providing a safe and comfortable ride. The system maximizes the friction between the road surface and your vehicle's tires, ensuring steering stability along with responsive handling.
Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.
If you've heard something about air intakes but not sure you need one, here's the ultimate guide for you. Learn the ins and outs of an air intake system and find out the benefits of using a cold air intake for your vehicle. We'll explain what these systems do for your ride and why you need one.

2005 Subaru WRX
| Posted by | (Superior, CO)

Purchased front and rear rotors and brake pads on my 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX to replace my previous brakes and rotors as a cheaper alternative to brands like Hawk. As a note my internals are mostly stock, so I didn't need any ridiculous stopping power. I have had the kit on for a couple weeks now on the car and I am pleased with the stopping power. The K447-26's fit my car perfectly and installation was without any major issues. Having extra shims, lube, and boots helped as well. No complaints so far. The bedding process was easy and I only heard a very slight grinding on the rears for about 5 miles. Working out great for me!
