The Subaru Impreza is an amazing model, having been offered in both the front wheel drive and all wheel drive versions. This is one amazing vehicle and deserves to be kept at its best to look as new as possible regardless of your intentions to trade it for a newer model. The resale value of a vehicle depreciates with time but you can maintain your Subaru Impreza’s original look to boost its resale value. All you need to do is carry out repairs and restoration jobs often to keep it looking spectacular. Keep in mind that the small details and accessories are also important in showcasing your car’s true nature and therefore do not neglect these. The bumpers are positioned at the ends of your Impreza to be the shock absorber in a collision. These protect other accessories such as fenders, exhaust systems as well as hoods among others. That makes them susceptible to damage in a collision or fender benders. However, you can replace the damaged bumper with a replacement bumper for little money.

For the best quality of Subaru Impreza replacement bumpers, bumper covers and protector strips visit CARiD, the leading online shop for auto parts and accessories. CARiD stocks a wide variety of superior quality replacement bumpers, bumper covers and protector strips to conceal unsightly scratches caused by loading or unloading objects. Quality is given top priority and for that reason, brand names such as the renowned Replace, Rugged Ridge, Omix-Ada and Goodmark dominate their digital shelves. A damaged bumper cover detracts from the resale value and you may want to check out the Rear Bumper Cover by Replace which is identical to the factory unit, with same quality and similar dimensions as the factory bumpers. It installs just like the original on too. Visit CARiD for unlimited options.

Chrome Bumpers: The Good Old Days When Bumpers Were Metal
Throughout the history of the automobile, metal bumpers with chrome-plated finish have been used as much for visual expression as they have for function. Go to any classic car show, and you're bound to hear at least one conversation covering the subject of how chrome bumpers are closely tied to "the good old days", with any given style representing the beginning or end of any individual's golden era of choice. In this article, we'll take a brief look at the history of chrome bumpers, how government regulations affected designs, and why chrome bumpers ultimately faded away. We'll also touch on replacement chrome bumpers we offer in the Front Bumpers and Rear Bumpers sections of our website.

How Do I Repair Or Replace My Plastic Painted Bumper?
The purpose of automobile bumpers is to protect functional and cosmetic areas of the car from damage during low-speed impacts. For many decades, bumpers were heavy chrome-plated steel bars bolted onto a vehicle's front and rear. Today's vehicles still have an actual metal bumper beam, but it's structural only and lighter in weight. A plastic piece known as a bumper cover fits over that structural beam, and is painted to provide a seamless look on the front or rear of a vehicle.

The product was pre-primed but had molding seams on each side which should have been sanded off. I didn't notice until I started painting so I left it alone. I can't really notice unless I'm looking for them. That's the only reason I knocked off an appearance star.
