Subaru Air Filters
Subaru is known for quality, economical, and practical vehicles that are also fun to drive in any kind of weather. The boxer (horizontally opposed cylinders) engine and all-wheel drive are Subaru hallmarks and the company also offers turbocharged engines in many of its vehicles. So, whether you’re carving corners in an Impreza WRX, hauling the team in an Outback Wagon, or cruising the boulevard in a Legacy Sedan, you can improve your Subaru by replacing the original equipment (OE) air filter with a premium performance air filter from CARiD. Your OE filter is more restrictive than the cotton gauze or synthetic air filters we carry from K&N, AEM, aFe or Airaid. These filters are direct replacements and install in your factory air box. They provide your valuable engine with the air filtration it needs while increasing airflow for increased power and improved performance. And if you want even more airflow, remove your Subaru’s air box and replace your OE air filter with a round or conical air filter from AEM, aFe, Airaid, Injen, K&N, Volant and Weapon-R. These filters have much greater filter area for even greater airflow and performance.
Our air filters will not only deliver superior air filtration and increased airflow, they’ll also save you money. Each of our premium performance air filters can be washed and reused, making it the last filter you’ll ever have to buy for your Subaru. Contrast this with your factory filter, which must be replaced again and again as it gets dirty, continually requiring more of your hard-earned dollars not to mention trips to the dealer or parts store. Even worse, as your filter gets dirty, the air passages become clogged, reducing airflow, performance and fuel mileage. Our filters maintain consistent flow between cleanings, so there’s no drop off in performance or mileage. So, you can buy a restrictive stock paper air filter again and again, or buy a high-flow premium performance air filter from CARiD once and enjoy superior air filtration, increased airflow and enhanced performance.
Forget about filter replacements and air flow troubles! Skillfully engineered and produced by the most knowledgeable experts and exhaustively tested, the air filters stored on our digital shelves ensure the lowest air restriction, unrivaled filtration efficiency, and maximum dust-holding capacity. Check over 15 air filter reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, to choose the product that will provide you with the power increase you need.

"I love this filter. It makes my car roar the way I want it and perform more than I expected. Amazing product. Installation is simple and only takes 10 min."
"I was excited when I got the package and when I opened it the filter was a bit larget than I expected. Instal took only minutes and it came with two clamps which was nice. It really looks great and adds a nice growl to my car. At low rpm I can actually hear the extra air rushing in and my car feels a bit more responsive and accelerates a bit better. The cage is plastic and I expected metal but it still feels pretty durable. I just need to show my wife how to clean it while I am away."
"I simply changed the stock air filter to the K&N air filter and my car just seems better. I'm not sure if it is simply my imagination but it seems faster when I accelerate."
"Great value and bump in both performance and mpg. I always install these type filters in my vehicles. Helps your engine to receive proper amount of air to provide enhanced performance. They really do pay for themselves in just a couple of years of use. "
"The only negative I have to voice is that this filter does not clamp to the inlet pipe easily. It has a slight taper that allows an easier installation over the lip. When tightening the band clamp, securing the filter to the inlet pipe, the filter has a tendancy to slide off the pipe. I haven't diagnosed a solution as of yet"
