A bull bar with skidplate protects your vehicle from damage to sensitive and expensive parts of your vehicle. If you use the off road capabilities of your ride, stones and stumps can damage the oil pan or, on 4WD vehicles, the transmission, which can have disastrous effects. The bar also provides a good place for your auxiliary lights, with pre-drilled mounting holes. As the bar is of a bolt-on, no-drill design, you can mount the auxiliary lights without drilling holes in the bumper, thus preserving the trade-in value of the vehicle. The bull bar also prevents damage to the front end from parking lot accidents, preserving both the good looks and the good value of your vehicle.164.88 200.16

Bull Bar is high quality. Color suppose to be a matte black but is more a gloss black, only slight disappointment. Easy to install but I installed by myself and had to position Bull Bar with hydraulic jack while loosely fitting bolts. Bar is too heavy to lift with one hand. Only modification I would suggest to manufacturer is to provide holes within Bar to snake light wiring through. Holes for mounting lights are provided but holes at top and bottom of bar would allow wiring for lights to be hidden, I will not be drilling into the bar. I like the look of the bar and am happy with purchase for my wife's Jeep. Was this review helpful for you? I began looking at bull bars and grill guards two years ago when I bought by Jeep Grand Cherokee. I finally made the decision to buy it a month ago. I needed a place to mount some emergency lighting as a paramedic and firefighter for my local fire department. The shipping was quick and it arrived in great shape. The stainless look is very slick, and after the install, the Jeep looks incredible. The only problem is the installation itself. Clearances are very tight. True, that's what makes this bar look custom made for the make and model of vehicle. But it means you won't be able to fit a tool in to turn the bolts. The instructions recommend leaving the bolts a little loose until everything is mounted and giving it a final tightening. I tried doing this with the scrape-plate in place, and without it. Both are tight fits. The only way this installation worked for me is to buy a new set of closed box-end ratcheting wrenches with pivoting heads. Once I finally bought these wrenches, the final tightening took seconds. The whole thing was worth it. The look is wonderful and it's a great addition to the Jeep. Maybe I like it a little bit more because I had to overcome the challenge of installing it. Note: I did this alone, and having a friend there to hold and help would have made some of it easier, but the tight clearances would still have been a challenge. Was this review helpful for you? Ok. If you honestly need instructions to install this thing. You probably should hire a mechanic or you neighbor, because... well it has 1 mounting screw. That being said. The instructions looked as if they had been copied 16 times in sequence. They were so faded and low contrast, I am glad I really didn't need them. There are two small self adhesive felt strips included. Cut them into 4 pieces. You need them between the screw mounting and the bar and you need a couple where it curves and touches the the back of the bar.Was this review helpful for you? Great product. Terrific look, solid and hefty enough to give a little manliness to my Pathfinder. Great platform to mount aux driving lights. The problem I discovered during the install. The frame brackets were mislabeled, almost as if I was sent a right hand drive version. (US Left hand drive vehicle) Not hard to figure out the problem, The installation directions refer to them as "Driver" and Passenger" It is logical that the "D" and "P" stamped into each bracket meant exactly as you would think. They were backwards and the bar was misaligned and not even within 2in (5cm) of the brackets. Easy fix. Unbolting the "D" and "P" and switching them took just a few minutes, and afterwards. Perfect fit. Great product overall. As long as you have the common sense to figure out small problems during install. Should be an easy 1 hour job.Was this review helpful for you? Item looks great. Although the steel tube seems bit thin n more cosmetic than durability for sure. The weld at joint of tube to support can be improved as it does stick out to be noticed. Was this review helpful for you? I though this product had the best quality and price out of all the options. I just received the bullbar and it seems to be a good quality product for a low price...it wasn't to difficult to install. The only complaint I have is that there were quite a few nicks on the bar, I don't know if this happened during shipping or it was like that before it was shipped. I kept the bubble wrap on during installation, so after it was already instead I took the bubble wrap off and noticed it. ill just have to live with it, and take some black touch up paint to it.Was this review helpful for you? This bull bar looks good, I love the black powdercoat and the pre-drilled holes for off road lighting options. But, it seems the mounting gear is a little cheaper then other bull bars. The kit comes with the bull bar, two mounts, bolts, lock nuts, and washers along with installation guides. This was easy to install "with two people" one to hold the bar in place while the other tightens the nuts and bolts. I thought there were top many adjustments with this type of mount because the holes for the bolts were too big so they just flopped around, and it seemed sort of unsturdy at first until i ran the bolts on with an impact. If your thinking about purchasing this product maybe look for one with different mounting gear. Other then that, it looks good on my 01 Chevy Silverado and fit perfectly! Was this review helpful for you? Took me about five minutes to install, literally. Looks great on my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Unless you've lifted your rig, the 3" bar looks odd, kinda bugged me until my lift was installed. After that it looked amazing. Mounted two Rigid Industry's dully pods, and a 10" Rigid bar, holds all of them well and protects them. It's not matte black like you'd assume a powder coat to be, it's gloss black. Over all a 7/10. The lower score is just due to the poor shipping and the week and a half it took for them to call me and say it's backordered. Was this review helpful for you? The product really, great and necessary where I live. The cost okay, until you put in bs shipping, but honestly that's just where I live in the Middle East. I thought it would come together with my bar, which it did! But total rip off as I was charged double shipping. Cost 3 times the price of the relocation kit + double the bar cost for shipping. A onetime only mistake! Was this review helpful for you? YesNoShare this review:
