Universal Power Inverter by Stanley®. Power a laptop, a small TV a couple of lights and many other small appliances with a digital inverter from Stanley. Whether it’s emergency power from a backup battery or simply a convenience on the jobsite or camping, these inverters let you plug in just like at home.
- Two Grounded 12V AC outlets
- 5V USB outlet
- Short circuit, thermal and overload protection
- Ground fault interrupter
- Modified sine wave output safe for most electronics
- Low-battery shutdown at 10.5 V to protect your battery
Sure, you can buy almost anything, including a toaster and a refrigerator that will plug into 12V DC. But sometimes it’s handy to be able to get a little 120V AC power into your vehicle so you can plug in a device that doesn’t play nice on 12V DC. The most compelling example would be a laptop computer, or a game console to keep the back-seaters occupied on a long trip. There’s a low-voltage shutoff so it won’t suck your battery dry if you forget to shut it off. A bonus is the USB outlet that works even if the inverter is shut off. These inverters consume more current than the power plug can supply (most are fused at 7.5 or 10 Amps), so they’ll need to be clamped onto the battery terminals with the supplied clamps and cables, or wired directly into the vehicle harness.
This converter is an electronic device that converts low voltage DC (direct current) electricity from a battery to 120V AC (alternating current) household power. It converts power in two stages. The first stage is a DC-to-DC conversion process that raises the low-voltage DC at the converter input to 145V DC. The second stage is a MOSFET bridge stage that converts the high voltage DC into 120V, 60 Hz AC.62.93 72.81

The Stanley Works was founded in 1843 in New Britain, Connecticut by Frederick T. Stanley to manufacture door hinges and bolts.. A few years later, in 1857, Frederick's cousin, Henry founded The Stanley Rule and Level Company. In 1910, S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker started their shop in Baltimore, Maryland, and were awarded a patent 6 years later for the world’s first portable power tool. In 2010 Stanley and Black & Decker combined to form Stanley Black & Decker, to deliver the tools and solutions that industrial companies, professionals, and consumers count on to be successful when it really matters.
