These projector headlights will benefit you and your car or truck in 2 ways. First you get superior illumination, which enables better vision in darkness and inclement weather, for safer driving. This is because the bulb in a projector headlight is positioned in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector. Where a conventional parabolic type reflector reflects light outward in a dispersed pattern, the elliptical reflector reflects the light toward a single focal point in front of the bulb. Projector headlights produce a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. The second benefit is made possible because of the projector headlight’s smaller size in comparison to a conventional headlight. Without the need for a large parabolic reflector, the stylists at Spyder have used the increased space within the headlight housing to include CCFL Halos and bright LED lights, working their styling magic to create the one-of-a-kind, custom designed CCFL Halo projector headlight with LEDs that you see on this page. Just by replacing your old, dim headlights you’ll gain a safer, more pleasurable driving experience, and give your vehicle an appearance makeover that will result in head turning looks.
Sharper, more focused beam increases driving safety.
Unique, custom styling
Smaller projector beam light allows more room for creative styling, and Halos and LEDs.
Bright CCFL Halos and LEDs will make your vehicle more conspicuous.
Direct bolt-on replacement
Designed to be an exact replacement for your factory lights, however some electrical wiring work may be required; most lights come with detailed installation instructions.
Thoroughly tested to ensure operation and completely sealed to prevent moisture from being trapped inside.
Meets all quality and legal standards
Meets ISO 9000 and 9002 quality standards. Approved by the SAE. Meets DOT regulations and compliant with FMVSS 108.
CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) is the ultimate in Halo lighting. Conventional Halo lights use one bulb and their light is uneven. CCFL Halos are filled with gas, like a neon sign, and display the same kind of glow. They’re four times as bright as conventional Halo lights. LED lights are the most advanced form of lighting. Their compact size makes it easy to arrange them in distinctive patterns, as seen on many late model luxury cars. They’re extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 50,000-75,000 hours, which means they’ll probably outlast the rest of your vehicle. The light they produce is much brighter and cleaner, much more attractive than incandescent light, which helps get them and the vehicle noticed, for increased visibility on the road and safer driving for you. The pattern of the LEDs in these lights is unique, so your ride will command attention wherever you go.
Every Spyder headlight undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before it leaves the factory. All wiring is tested to make sure the light is completely functional, and the housing is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure that no moisture can become trapped inside. Spyder lights are approved by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and ISO-9000 and ISO-9002 certified. They meet all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and are compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108.317.61Brand: Spyder Part Number: PRO-YD-TTU07-CCFL-C UPC: 847245030313

I was very excited to finally receive my new headlights and taillights. I had saved for months so I could afford them. One of the selling points for me was the video showing how to install these on my year model truck. It seemed to be clear instructions and just about anyone with a few basic tools could do it. As I found out the videos leave out a couple of very important key items. First is the videos show a plug and play installation. Not the case at all. You better have car wiring experience and more tools as you have to hard wire in the CFL and the LED lights. If you think that you will just have your local automotive shop do it for you get ready to break out your wallet. The couple of shops I went to including the Toyota dealership did not even want to touch them so I think it is reasonable to say if you do find someone that is willing to do it the fee is going to be high. I did get the headlights working and was a bit disappointed by how dim they are in the daylight compared to all the other CFL and LED lights you see on cars and trucks that came with them from the factory. They do look great in the evenings and at night. The second challenge that came up is adjusting the headlights. When I first drove the truck at night these are not even close to being set correctly. I did suspect this because I knew the headlights come with adjustment screws. I did not expect Spyder to leave me in the cold once I googled their video on how to adjust them. What a joke! All it shows you is where the screws are located and thats it. As I found out their is a formula and several points of measurement, flat surfaces etc that all have to be done in order to set these lights. Not to mention the 20 times I had to install and remove each headlight as I was attempting to adjust them because you cant access the adjustment screws while the headlight is installed on my Toyota Tundra. My honest opinion is that these two factors that are very important are intentionally left out during the videos so not to scare away potential buyers. I would have much more preferred to have all the information so that I could have been properly educated and prepared to install these and enjoy them instead of wasting hours having to Google other sites to figure out how to install and adjust this product. I am still debating whether or not I will keep them which is aggravating. I refer back to my earlier statement that I had saved for months in order to purchase them.1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? These are great replacements for my stock headlights, however, the wiring is cheap but it works. I would recommend these if you are looking for a nice LED/Projection headlight. The halos were very bright!1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? I placed these headlights on my '08 Tundra. To take off the stock and install the Spyder headlights took about an hour max. They look super clean and will most definitely turn heads. Was this review helpful for you? These lights are awesome. The instructions could be a little clearer, but with a little common sense, it took me about 45 to 60 min.1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you? YesNoShare this review:
