    As far as cheap subs go these really surprised me. especially the cone. its made of a very hard poly? And the magnet is pretty good size (even though that doesn't mean much) I have two of these in a box I built, running on a 400 watt amp. and believe it or not they sound pretty good considering it was less then $50 for both of them!
