About Scion tC Performance Exhaust Systems

The Scion TC is a sporty 2-door compact car. It has a distinctive external design that exudes stability and power. It also has an exquisite internal design, comfortable seating and up market accessories geared to make your ride smooth and pleasant. Nevertheless, its performance is not at its best due to a restrictive stock exhaust system that limits the flow of exhaust gases from the cylinders. To remedy this situation, replace the stock exhaust system with a performance exhaust system from CARiD. Aftermarket exhaust systems boost performance by facilitating fast evacuation of exhaust gases and rapid inflow of fresh oxygen into the cylinders. The impact of this switch on performance is huge. The car’s horsepower and torque output increases by significant margins. Consequently, peak performance becomes a realizable goal. Moreover, fuel consumption is also optimized, leading to fuel cost savings at cruising speeds.

You also benefit from acquisition of a product that does not rust, as aftermarket Scion TC exhaust systems are made from stainless steel tubing, strengthened by significant proportions of nickel and chromium. This makes it extra resistant to corrosion. Moreover, the product comes with a lifetime warranty. This means your first purchase is your last and the manufacturer will take on responsibility for any defects arising thereafter. The exhaust has a deep roar that perfectly denotes the power within your engine. The sound quality is also maintained over a long period. This is ensured by the tight packaging of acoustics materials, guaranteeing no compromise in sound quality over time. Polished exhaust tailpipes and tips give your car head turning looks, drawing attention from all around. Installation is made easy by the comprehensive manual accompanying the exhaust system. Install a Scion TC exhaust system to experience a thrilling surge to the top.

Regardless of whether you're shopping for a simple replacement muffler that delivers original equipment (OE) sound and performance or an upgraded muffler which provides a deeper growl with increased power through freer exhaust flow, you'll see choices between "direct fit" mufflers and "universal" mufflers. In this article, we'll help you understand the differences...
It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
Headers are installed because the stock exhaust manifolds usually flow poorly. An exhaust header has individual tubes for each exhaust port, allowing each exhaust pulse to flow unobstructed from the cylinder head. The tubes on headers are usually larger in diameter than the runners on an exhaust manifold and the tubes are mandrel bent for gradual radius bends.

This exhaust is perfect if you are looking to customize your tC! It's not excessively loud and is far from quiet. Installation is very simple and can be done with floor jacks; remove 6 bolts or so, put this exhaust in its place, bolt back on and go. Once you start the car, you immediately hear the roar of this exhaust. It sounds awesome at start-up, rev it up and you'll love it even more. Power gain is there, but it's not substantial. It's also important to note that I tried the TRD axel-back exhaust before buying this one...what a waste! There was no power gain at all and the only way you heard any sound from the TRD exhaust was from revving while in park or neutral, regardless of how fast you went on the highway you wouldn't hear much. With the Agency Power Exhaust, you hear the exhaust inside and out of the car. You can hear when revving in park/neutral and can hear it when accelerating on the highway. The craziest part?? TRD exhaust: $525, Agency Power Exhaust: $600. Agency Power while not yet a household name (that I'm aware), is a significantly better deal. And to be honest, there are not alot of catback exhausts for the 2013 tC; this one seems to have the best sound and price. Hope this helps. P.S. Agency Power made their own demo video of the exhaust that is available to view on Youtube if you're interested.
