Regardless of the body kit material you choose, the end result will only be as good as the quality of the installation. Fiberglass parts are relatively easy to produce and inexpensive to buy, but their fit and finish as delivered is not as good as parts made from polyurethane or ABS plastic. Polyurethane is another popular material for body kit parts. Let’s take a look at each type.

"The original bomber at the hatch on the vehicle was scratched within 6 weeks of ownership. It looked horrible. Scion offered to put on a "bumper protector" but the thing was a clear piece of plastic film with the Scion logo on it. It was simply not going to work. They wanted to charge $75. Your product was substantial enough to fully protect the bumper on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, looked great, and was installed in 15 minutes. At least, I can now tag a bag of groceries or a box out of the truck without scratching the bumper."

"These look great on my car. They look like factory issue and the color matches perfect. They were a little difficult to install. It take 2 people to get them on correctly."

"We did a slight change in the installation instructions using 1" masking tape. The instructions are to mount the moldings below the bottom edge of two masking tape tabs marking these measurements; one front door, one back door. We added 1" to the suggested measurements. Then we ran one continuous length of 1" masking tape between & below the measurement tabs of masking tape. This gave us one complete level masking tape guide below which to fasten both front and back door moldings, for a perfect level match-up.. "

"Fits fine. Looked good. Much better protection than originally offered by Scion in 2008, when I purchased the car. That was like a decal. This was rubber. And, easier to apply to."

"The installation was very easy and went quick. The only thing you have to worry about is getting it level. The moulding doesn't bend much so as long as you measure correctly it will look very good. The cuts on the moulding were not as straight as I would have liked but after all was said and done, it looked very good and I doubt, you could tell the difference between self intallation and professional installation. Overall I was very pleased with the final look. "
