Metalúrgica Schadek Ltda. is a Brazilian company that was established in 1965 to serve the automobile industry by providing pressure-cast parts in alloys such as aluminum, magnesium and zamak, which were designed and produced on demand based on drawings or samples provided by the customers. Going along with the growth of the Brazilian auto industry and an increasing demand for aftermarket parts of the domestic market, in 1968 Metalúrgica Schadek started to manufacture engine oil pumps, and after a short while became the fastest growing company in the industry and one of the leading oil pump manufacturers in Brazil.

Developing their own expertise and know-how, in 1972 Metalúrgica Schadek started to manufacture cylinders for two- and four-stroke small engines used in motorcycles, chainsaws, lawn mowers, atomizers, etc. Produced from aluminum alloys under high/low pressures or by gravity, with the electro-deposition of hard chromium applied directly on the aluminum, these cylinders use the same technology as that of aircraft cylinders, and made Metalúrgica Schadek a pioneer in this manufacturing process.

The growing demand of Schadek branded products in both the internal and the external markets has led Metalúrgica Schadek to steady expansions of their facilities. In 1982 a new and state-of-the-art plant was installed in Porto Feliz, Sao Paulo State, where the entire product line is manufactured, and includes items such as: oil pumps, water pumps, fittings and automotive accessories.

The stringent quality control in all phases of the production process allows Schadek to offer its customers the highest quality products which meet the most rigorous performance and durability requirements. The increasing acceptance of the company's products internationally demonstrates the recognition and trust the company enjoys.
