Rubicon Express have carefully developed a leaf spring that you can count on to provide maximum articulation, smooth ride, increased load capacity for all the gear, durability and structural integrity to handle the extra torque from larger tires and lower gears. This spring is 2.5” wide and requires the use of RE2785 conversion shackles and RE2050 spring plates. What makes Rubicon Extreme-Duty leaf springs better than many other springs on the market? Our springs are made with the highest-grade steel available in the industry. We use bolt style clamps to hold the packs together that maximizes flex instead of inexpensive fold-over style clamps that bind. Each leaf is diamond cut to reduce the friction area between the stacked leafs, then tapered providing softer initial compression and optimum ride quality. A Teflon pad is then installed between each layer to again, reduce friction and minimize noise.
