Ridetech started in 1996 with a vision of building a better lowered car. Using air suspension to accomplish the task, our reputation as innovators, problem solvers, and just good folks to deal with, helped us grow quickly. It was just what company do – Hot Rod. To us, Hot Rodding means you can always do better and “no” is never an acceptable answer. Ridetechs business model has not been derived from any business seminar or book. It is simply the company's common sense approach of giving the customer what they want when they want it.
Since Ridetech's staff are hot rodders they feel they have a reasonably good idea what “it” is. One walk through Ridetechs building and you’ll know Ridetech isn’t just in the business of building hot rods, they are in the livelihood of building hot rods. Ridetech does the vast majority of their manufacturing in-house. The company does the research and development, CAD drawings, prototyping, CNC machining, CNC tube bending, jig welding, shock assembly and dynoing, airspring crimping and burst testing, and final assembly all within their facility in Jasper, IN. This way Ridetech has complete control over every aspect of design, quality and delivery. This is one reason why their backorder rate is virtually ZERO.
All of Ridetech's tech/sales people have air suspension vehicles and have been involved in the design, manufacture, installation, and use of Ridetech suspension systems. The company has a fleet of around 20 muscle cars, customs, and sport trucks that they use to demonstrate the performance of Ridetech suspension products and to continually refine them.
RideTech, formerly known as Air Ride Technologies, is a manufacturer and developer of suspension components for hotrods, streetrods, trucks and aftermarket applications of all kinds. Their name has changed, and the shape of their icon, but behind the new look they are the same company. Air Ride Technologies is RideTech: the same owners, same staff, and most importantly, the same passion for performance.
