Sleek and powerful, the Porsche 928 is the dream car of many a sports car enthusiasts. Riding in it as a passenger or the driver is an experience to be treasured for eternity. The Porsche 928 picks up easy, has an incredible acceleration and cruises along the freeways with explosive power. But with even these impressive features, the Porsche 928 would do better when fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system from CARiD. Stock exhaust systems prevent the unleashing of the ‘monster’ power locked up in the engine. Performance exhaust systems on the other hand enhance the car’s performance to levels that previously only existed in your dreams. You see, performance Porsche 928 exhaust systems reduce backpressure outside the engine, leading to rapid evacuation of exhaust gases and inflow of fresh air. This gives increased horsepower and torque gains by a significant 10%. In addition, fuel economy is optimized, especially at cruising speed. You are henceforth able to cover more miles on the same tank of fuel than was the case previously.

Aftermarket exhaust systems have a reputation for being extremely durable, and the story is the same with the Porsche 928. They are made from durable austenitic stainless steel, which is extra resistant to corrosion. Performance Porsche 928 exhaust manufacturers have the fullest confidence in the product and provide a lifetime warranty guaranteeing the quality of materials and skill invested in each unit. These are not the only benefits accruing to you. You also get to listen to the sweet sound of freedom coming from your engine in the form of a deep, bold growl. The sound is a sure head turner, propelling you ahead of your peers. The sound quality does not deteriorate over time because sound engineers working on the exhaust take measures to prevent sound degradation. Why put up with mediocrity? Push for excellence by installing a Pontiac 928 exhaust system.

Engines have often been compared to air pumps, because the engine that’s most efficient in terms of economy and power is the one that can get air in and out of its cylinders the easiest. That’s why most performance modifications like conical air filters, cold air intake systems, headers, and cat-back exhaust systems are aimed at making the intake and exhaust systems less restrictive. These parts increase the flow of air into the engine and ease the flow of exhaust gas out of the engine. Among these components, headers may be the most difficult to install. In this article, we’ll discuss what headers do, their different types, and how much performance they can add to your car.
