Meet the Tjin edition of the Pontiac G8 that is scheduled to hit this year's SEMA show. Neil Tjin, the West Coast tuner, received notification from General Motors, saying that his company was chosen to build a new design for the Pontiac G8 GT. About two weeks later, the Tjin's team received the brand new G8, and the magic began.
Having only 10 weeks to get the job done, Tjin wasted no time and instantly began the work. The Pontiac G8 has undergone both exterior and interior modifications. The car now features a custom PPG Tjin Edition bluish gray paint scheme, and pinstripping. Exterior modifications also include custom mesh grilles, metal custom wing, and custom 20'' 7-spoke wheels. The engine bay received a custom beige coat of paint in order to accent the exterior color. The G8 now features a Vortech supercharger system, Corvette Z06 brakes, raised shock towers and Eibach springs, custom intake manifold and X-pipe exhaust, American Racing headers, and so much more. The interior was completely rewrapped. The Tjin's crew added new red and gray upholstery with silver stitching, Focal audio system, GlowShift gauges, and Visteon navigation system. The G8 was named the Pontiac G8 CST after Neil's first baby Collin Samuel Tjin.
