Plymouth Prowler Performance Exhausts

About Plymouth Prowler Performance Exhaust Systems

Bringing back the classic hot-rod spirit to the modern roads, the Plymouth Prowler 2-door roadster was definitely one of the most attention-getting cars of its time. The Prowler featured the unconventional aggressive exterior design, reminiscent of the 30's nose-down hot-rods, augmented by huge 20" rear wheels, the bath-tub cockpit and its sloping rear. Utilizing ample amounts of aluminum in the chassis construction and with the 4-speed transaxle for better front/rear weight ratio, this 3.5-liter V6-powered car gets to 60 mph in around 6 seconds. This fun roadster never fails to put a smile on the driver's face and is a real attention magnet wherever it goes.

Performance-oriented exhaust systems and polished exhaust tips are a perfect way to add to the Prowler's power and style, and CARiD is just the place to find the highest quality aftermarket parts. We've got a huge range of options here, featuring high-grade stainless steel construction and streamlined low restriction design for greater efficiency and raw might. Let the Prowler's V6 breathe freely, and it'll reward you finely with better torque, horsepower and some stunning deep tones you'd never imagine it could do.

It has been a battle of the ages to make exhaust sound like it should. Having less bends or turns will not only improve the sound but also performance. A custom exhaust is always an option for the race inspired and spirited weekend warriors. Our manufactures offer everything needed to build a custom exhaust to your preference.
The consensus opinion among exhaust flow experts is that any V8 engine will benefit from a dual exhaust system with an H-pipe or X-pipe. H-pipes were first installed to quiet this exhaust noise. As with the H-pipe, an X-pipe also affects the sound of the exhaust. With an X-pipe, the two sides of the exhaust system are merged. The exhaust pressure on both banks is equalized and power is increased at all engine speeds.

"This muffler looks awesome on my car and sounds great! I have noticed a little bit of extra power added as well. It made my car sound deeper and not as high pitched when I am speeding up. I would defenently recommend this product to anyone!"
