All our pipes come in aluminized steel and stainless steel. Both materials are used by all major exhaust system manufacturers to ensure durability and great appearance. Don’t put a lot of time and effort into an exhaust system project only to see it rust away. And painting ordinary steel tubing, even with high heat paint, isn’t the answer. It’s difficult to get complete coverage when painting tubing, so you’ll have to recoat repeatedly and still may get rust.

All the pipes we carry at CARiD are mandrel bent. Mandrel bending ensures smooth bends and makes sure the pipe maintains its size and shape throughout the entire length. Tubes that aren’t mandrel bent can lose a percentage of their diameter in sharp bends, which creates exhaust flow restriction. Mandrel bending provides consistent bends so each pipe flows as much as possible, and more exhaust flow equals better performance. To make sure you get the most performance from your exhaust system, get your pipes from CARiD.

The addition of an H-pipe or an X-pipe to a dual exhaust system has been proven to unleash more horsepower. With these pipes, exhaust flow is increased because now both cylinder banks can make use of both sides of the exhaust system, and increased exhaust flow equals more power. If you already have a dual exhaust system you like, there’s no need to replace it. We carry H-pipe and X-pipe kits from manufacturers like Borla and Flowmaster that can give you the horsepower boost you’re looking for.

We carry Flowmaster Scavenger series header collectors and Y-collectors. Both use the principle of pulse technology. Each tube and the way it merges in the collector are specially designed to take advantage of the engine’s exhaust pulses. As the exhaust pulse travels down the tube, its momentum creates a vacuum behind the pulse as the exhaust valve closes. This helps “scavenge” the remaining exhaust from the combustion chamber. The large D-shaped ports provide a larger surface area for the exhaust pulses to pull each other along as they travel the length of the collector.
