The Nissan Leaf is a revolutionary vehicle. Fuelled by electricity, it can run for at least 100 km before a recharge is required. You save tremendously of fuel cost. All you need is a 240 KV plug in your garage. It is spacious, enabling comfortable seating for five persons. The ride quality is superb and the handling is impressive. The cargo area is also adequate. However, attaching a trailer to it would do no harm. On the contrary, this would increase its utility value. To achieve this you need a trailer hitch from CARiD to facilitate attachment to your car. CARiD stocks a wide range of trailer hitches to serve the needs of various clients. They stock weight-distribution hitches, weight-bearing hitches, gooseneck hitches and 5th wheel hitches. You need to ensure the load does not destabilize your vehicle. Weight-distribution hitches come highly recommended. They have an in-built mechanism that transfers a part of the trailer weight to the front axle.
Nissan Leaf trailer hitches are durable and resilient. They have a black powdered finish to prevent corrosion. Trailer hitches are designed to ensure precise fitment for specific vehicle makes and models. They are completely welded constructions designed to bolt onto your vehicle with relative ease. You can expect to find a hitch that fits your car perfectly. No adjustments are required to install the hitch. The hitch comes with an installation manual to guide you through the process systematically. The installation process is simple and quite straightforward. All you need is a set of the right tools and you will have it up in half an hour. In addition, CARiD stocks a wide range of accessories to help you set up the hitch successfully. They provide an assortment of hitch covers, electrical connectors, and receiver mounts among other components.
Here at CARiD we have a loyal set of customers, and they are very involved with their cars. That means using them in many ways, or racing them or towing them to car shows on trailers. They know towing, is what we’re saying. And 32 of them left a number of reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars. We know you’ll feel the same way after towing your toys around, whether it’s a race car, a trailer full of quads or motorcycles or personal watercraft or full-on camper. CARiD has the parts you need to support your hobby!

"The hitch cover is a nice finishing detail to complement the look of the vehicle. The size of the plate could stand to be a little larger, but overall, it looks great! Very happy with the cover."

"Took a little longer than expected to arrive, but my guess is that it was due to the heavy weight of the box. Item arrived undamaged, though I doubt it would have made a difference in this case. Installation was mostly straightforward except for one issue, a muffler bracket was slightly in the way preventing the holes from lining up perfectly. I had to use a grinder to notch the corner of the bracket to accommodate, but 10 minutes later after the notch and a blast from a can of rustoleum spray paint the first side was bolted in no problem. On my Rogue particularly one side of the existing frame holes were rusted and took quite a bit of cleaning out to be able to thread the provided bolts, but that was my car's issue and nothing to do with the product. All in all, installation on this is definitely above beginner as the need for breaker bar to loosen old rusted bolts and need to slightly modify the product with tools that the average Joe may not have puts this solidly in the "intermediate" category in my opinion. Otherwise the item is solid and well built, definitely can take the rated load, and once modified fit perfectly to the existing bolt holes in the frame. I'm completely satisfied with the product at the price paid."
