Nissan Frontier Chrome Trim

Very nice fender trim. Fits the vehicle well. Installation was a little more involved than I expected. It was necessary to remove the factory splash guards, use four or more clamps per trim to hold in place, drill the holes, and attach the fender trim with the supplied screws. The front fender trims had a bracket that was pop riveted to the fender trim. This bracket is screwed to the inner fender liner because the front part of the fender is too narrow to drill and screw. To get it to fit correctly, it was necessary to flatten the pop rivet on the fender side of the trim so that it would fit flush against the fender at the front or leading edge. I first tried to use a vice to flatten the rivet, but I got better results using a hammer with the bottom of the fender trim and rivet on a concrete surface. A sturdy workbench or bench mounted vice would also work to support the fender trim while flattening out the top of the rivet with a hammer. The instructions were very light and difficult to read. Item was back ordered, but CARiD kept me informed of the status of my order.
