Regardless of the body kit material you choose, the end result will only be as good as the quality of the installation. Fiberglass parts are relatively easy to produce and inexpensive to buy, but their fit and finish as delivered is not as good as parts made from polyurethane or ABS plastic. Polyurethane is another popular material for body kit parts. Let’s take a look at each type.

"The protector is a simple piece of what appears to be vinyl. It covers part of the bumper, but unfortunately not the edge that gets most of the abuse. It was not curved to exactly match the bumper, but is close. The previous model of my car (2009 Murano) had an option of a rubber bumper protector that covered the edge. There was no such option on my model year, only a stainless steel protector, which is stupid since it would be slippery and dangerous. This JKS protector was the only non-slip type available. "

"Makes a real difference in the appearance of the car - looks great. Paint matched exactly, and the quality of the materials was very good. It does take two people to install properly. I used a level rather thatn the the "measuring" method they gave in the instructions. Highly recommend. "

"These look great, perfect color match, my body shop guy said they match perfectly with the gray. This is a great product, I wish they had it for the Volvo XC60."
