Molded vs Flat Dash KitsMolded vs Flat Dash Kits
There are two types of dashboard kits available on the market today: flat and molded. The difference between these two is based on the shape of the dashboard a vehicle has. Some cars are coming out with a flat panel while others have a board that is curved around the edges or in 3D shapes. Correspondingly, molded dash kits are suitable for the latter kind of the dashboard, whereas flat dash kits are perfect for the first-mentioned type.
Many people think that the genuine material always is better than materials imitating other materials. Even if the real wood is encased in plastic materials it cannot be completely isolated from the environment. Modern synthetic wood materials are so similar to the original that it takes the eye of a true expert to tell them apart.

"This is the 2nd dash kit I have got from CARiD, a Remin woodgrain dash kit. It was very easy to install with a little heat from a heat gun. Increased the value of the car as I had traded my first 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse for a 2009 Eclipse. This is what I thank about CARiD.com, I ordered a 3rd kit for my wife's 2013 Honda Accord. I would recommend CARiD.com, their service is great, I ordered by phone, it was easy and fast. I can't wait to install the 3rd kit on wife's Honda. PS BE sure to clean dash with alcohol before installing kit. "

"The quality of the dash kit is excellent!! I'd recommend this brand to anyone. The fit and finish are the best I've seen. Even the shipping packaging was 1st. rate. The basic kit was so good i followed up with 2 more custom orders to complete the dash. Price is right and the service can't be beat. This is my first review of any product ever."

"The parts are of good quality, the installation was easy, but the kits are not designed exactly for your vehicle, therefore you end up paying for parts that you won't use."
