- Other drivetrain parts may be necessary
- Hubs feature raised center knob for easier engagement by hand with just 1/4 turn
- All components made from reinforced, heat-treated steel for higher strength than OEM
- Brass bushings are oil-impregnated for longer life and to allow better freewheeling on full-time AWD systems with spinning drive shafts
- 2-year manufacturer warranty
Install a Mile Marker Front Hub Conversion Kit and allow turn your full-time 4WD drivetrain into a part-time system that can be engaged or disengaged. Once front wheels can be disengaged from the axle shafts that drive them, drag is reduced on all drivetrain components to reduce the amount of wear and stress they suffer during normal on-road motoring. Front wheels will roll with less resistance – giving you a financial benefit of increased tire life and fuel economy. Note that other drivetrain modifications may be necessary (see Mile Marker's 4x2 Conversion Kit to make sure you have any of these items needed for your application), and this should only be done on vehicles with center transfer cases that can be locked, and shifting the load of propelling your vehicle from both axles to rear drivetrain components only may stress parts more than they were designed for.

Easier to install then I thought it would be. Simple and quiet operations. Just installed last week, so I can't really comment on its ability to haul me out of the muck......but part of the installation is tightening the cable on the drum. With the truck in 4WD.....both lockers engaged.....truck in Park.....and the cable anchored to a large tree....the winch pulled the truck (four tires squealing) with no problem.1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful for you?
