The suspension system of your Mercury Tracer, as of any other car though, has several components, which are springs, struts, and shock absorbers. Some consider tires as a part of the suspension system too. The struts' vital purpose is to keep the tires connected with the road surface evenly and to assure vertical load on them. The struts should be checked every 12,500 miles approximately as they perform more than 1,500 movements per one mile, and thus, are subject to quick wear and tear. The springs bear the weight of your vehicle and are in their essence a flexible connection that minimizes disturbances while the tires and suspension go down the road.
The Tracer has always been a decent set of American wheels. And it will remain the same reliable partner for you if you maintain it properly. Check out how CARiD can help you in achieving this goal. At CARiD.com, you can shop for your car from head to foot, i.e. from under-hood performance elements to exterior accessories. The Suspension Systems section offers an excessive range of suspension system components including but not limiting to shocks, struts, greaseable bolt kits, poly flex joints, sway bar bushings and brackets, custom shock boots, and end-link kits. Before making a purchase, you have a chance to read a detailed description, product reviews, and some installation guides when available. We assure you that with the brands like Daystar, ReadyLIFT, and Suncore, you simply can not be disappointed. Click on the model year above to get the selection of goods designed exactly for your Mercury Tracer.
If you need individual components such as spacers to adjust airbag installed height, height sensors, air bag bellows, air compressor kits, load leveling kits, air struts, air springs, and more, we offer those as well. Because these systems are complex, we recommend professional installation if you are not already experienced with air-ride units. If you’re in the process of deciding whether an air suspension upgrade is right for you, see over 356 product reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars stars to see customers who have already installed them think.

"My 2001 Seville STS was not giving me a Cadillac ride, but having installed Arnott struts changed that. My car now runs as it did new."

"Variable rear coil springs are wonderful, and the ride of the car is much better than the air springs, and future repairs are not required."

"We did a full suspension conversion on our 2006 Lexus GX470. The ride was becoming unbearable. It was like a bouncy house on wheels. We had our local mechanic install these and the Bilstein shocks. Worked great! Great ride. Maintained factory height. No lights came on after replacing the active shocks. "

Worked great! Great ride. Maintained factory height. Mechanic did say he had to compress them a lot to get them in."
