One of the things that you notice at the first mile of riding a car is its suspension system. If it's good or not, you can judge by smoothness of its ride. If in a moving car you can drink a cup of espresso without spillage, it means that suspension is in a good state and tuned correctly. Suspension of cars with history and many miles behind, like the Mercury Capri, should be checked more scrupulously. Timely repair, greasing or exchange will prolong the car's life.
Regardless of what body form your Capri has or of which model year it is, CARiD.com offers a great selection of quality suspension systems and components for your Mercury Capri. Lowering kits, air suspension, shock and struts, coil springs, control arms, sway bars and fittings, bushings, and other components will provide extended ride comfort improving your vehicle's handling performance. There are more than 130 items by the prominent manufacturers in stock. Coil over shock absorber by Granatelli Motor Sports, control arms by Competition Engineering, sway bar bushings by Prothane, etc. Every product page provides the most essential data to help you make choices. If, after all, you do need additional, more specific information, join our online chat or call us toll free.
If you need individual components such as spacers to adjust airbag installed height, height sensors, air bag bellows, air compressor kits, load leveling kits, air struts, air springs, and more, we offer those as well. Because these systems are complex, we recommend professional installation if you are not already experienced with air-ride units. If you’re in the process of deciding whether an air suspension upgrade is right for you, see over 356 product reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars stars to see customers who have already installed them think.

"My 2001 Seville STS was not giving me a Cadillac ride, but having installed Arnott struts changed that. My car now runs as it did new."

"Variable rear coil springs are wonderful, and the ride of the car is much better than the air springs, and future repairs are not required."

"We did a full suspension conversion on our 2006 Lexus GX470. The ride was becoming unbearable. It was like a bouncy house on wheels. We had our local mechanic install these and the Bilstein shocks. Worked great! Great ride. Maintained factory height. No lights came on after replacing the active shocks. "

Worked great! Great ride. Maintained factory height. Mechanic did say he had to compress them a lot to get them in."
