Mazda Releases new 2011 Mazda 5

2011 Mazda 5 gets new fascia that looks a bit more usual than its predecessor. The new Mazda 5 comes equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that comes in pair with a six-speed manual gearbox in entry-level models and a five-speed automatic in two higher trim levels. The previous 2010 model has a smaller 2.3-liter power unit. The 2.5-liter generates 157 horsepower and 163 lb-ft. of torque. Mazda has not announced the fuel efficiency of the new model.

Customers can opt for three trim packages, including the entry-level Sport one. Priced at $19,900, the Mazda 5 Sport features air conditioning, alloy wheels, cruise control, six-speaker CD player, and power accessories. The Touring trim level includes five-speed automatic gearbox, 17-inch alloys, a trip computer, and a body kit. This vehicle will cost $21,900. The Grand Touring will be equipped with CD charger, heated leather seats, rain-sensing wipers, and HID headlamps. This trim level will be offered for $24,670.
