Old-school cars used to be called glorious before, they are called legendary now. Leander Jordan from La Mesa, CA, knows that good, which is why he spares no efforts when it comes to customization of old beauties. In 2003, he saw the 1996 Lincoln Continental for sale on the street where he used to live. He couldn't help by test-drive it, and the car rode so good that he went straight to the bank, and got the required amount of money to buy the Lincoln.
The car's transformation would be impossible without revision of every single component. The very first thing Jordan modified was the engine. At the moment, the Lincoln Continental is powered by a 521-hp V8 Stroker engine, and equipped with a custom 3'' Flowmaster dual exhaust with a C6 transmission. Suspension had to be renovated, meaning changed, as well, so the Lincoln got a full air suspension with two Viair compressors. The inner beauty of the Lincoln is now underlined by a custom upholstery, featuring tan leather and ostrich inserts, as well as by the matching plush carpet. After Jordan finished with the interior, he moved to the exterior. The car's body was smoothed, painted Organic Green, and highlighted by chrome trim. 24'' Hypnotic Zen front and rear wheels became the finishing touch that completed the portray of the newly-born Lincoln Continental.
