Lexus Side View Mirrors

Being the best-selling make of the Japanese premium cars, Lexus is well-known worldwide. Still not everyone knows that the Toyota Motor Corporation kept the engineering of the first Lexus car in a secret for a long time. Hundreds of engineers and designers created this vehicle, and the result of their hard work far exceeded even their own expectations. The corporation expressed its affection to this car make by the slogan “The passionate pursuit of perfection.” Their “baby” became famous all over the world for its luxury and reliability very quickly. Still even such powerful vehicles have their Achilles' heel - side view mirrors that are the weak but important component.

Everyone can trash them backing out of the garage or driving through an alleyway. Still it doesn't mean that you have to drive without this accessory at all. Moreover, it will be impossible to drive without side mirrors as you won't be in tune with the traffic on both sides of your car. Besides, this car part is required by law and you will be fined in case of driving without it. So we are here to help you with your damaged mirror. The CARiD's team handpicked more Lexus side view mirrors made by the most respectable companies such as Carbon Creations, SEIBON, Rugged Ridge, Omix-Ada, CIPA, etc. than anyone else. Besides, we host the highest-quality selection to provide our clients with a product that will serve them for years to come.

2005 Lexus RX
| Posted by | (Edmonton, AB)

First of all, I want to say that this is a great product which I am very happy with. I bought it for a 2004 Lexus RX330. The lessons I learned likely apply to several mirrors for several different vehicle manufacturers: 1. Does not come with the 3 required bolts, as they likely correctly assume that you will have the bolts from the one you take off. 2. Check your VIN plate and determine if your vehicle is made in Japan or USA. If it was made in USA, I presume you are "good to go!" If your vehicle was made in Japan, you will need to buy new bolts for the mirror, as the OEM Japanese bolt is metric sized, as well as having a 'shoulder.' The bolts seem to thread in fine, but will not tighten all the way in due to the 'shoulder' on both the bolt and the threaded portion built into the new mirror. I ended up breaking one of the nuts right off of the new assembly by trying to snug it up tight. I recovered from the situation by swapping the new mirror onto my OEM mounting plate. It can be done, but is not an operation for the faint of heart!
