Legato extends the following limited warranty to the original purchaser of a Legato exhaust system. Legato warrants its exhaust products against defects in materials and workmanship for the buyer's lifetime from the date of original purchase. This applies only to the original purchaser and the parts must remain installed on the original vehicle for which they were purchased. This warranty is void if the product was improperly installed, was installed on a vehicle for which it was not designed, if it was modified in any manner, or was removed from the original vehicle and reinstalled on another vehicle.
This warranty shall not apply to any product installed on a racing vehicle, installed improperly, or contrary to Legato's instructions, altered, misused, or repaired or damaged from an accident, collision, or willful or negligent act.
Except for the 304 stainless steel tips, Legato exhaust systems are made of 409 stainless steel. This grade of stainless is subject to light surface discoloration, which can appear as rust. This is a surface condition only and will not result in failure of the steel material. This surface condition is not a basis for a warranty claim. Warranty claims with respect to defects in materials or workmanship are limited to actual corrosion that penetrates the material and/or failed welds.
Legato's Liability is Expressly Limited to the Payment of Shipping Costs and Replacing the Defective Part or Parts. Legato will Have No Liability for the Cost of Installation or the Removal of the Defective Product or for the Cost of Labor or Any Additional Parts Required to Complete the Installation of the Replacement Product.
In No Event will Legato be Liable for Any Indirect, Special, Incidental or Consequential Losses or Damages (Including but Not Limited to Interruption of Business or Loss of Business or Profit) Resulting from the use or Inability to use the Product, Any Breach of Warranty, or Any Defect in the Product, Even if Legato
