"I installed these on a Land Rover LR3. I believe my experience should apply to the LR3/LR4 2005 - present. The boards arrived nicely packaged and in good shape. The running boards themselves appear quite well-made and sturdy. I ordered the black powder coat as there is nothing on the LR3 that is chrome; the powder coat also looks to be of very high quality. The instructions, although specific for my vehicle, were sparse. For example, there are two mounting brackets at each corner, one mounts to a factory mounting point under the door sill (more on this later) and one wedges up against the inside of the door sill/rocker panel. You essentially have to wedge the inside bracket up against the inner sheet metal and when this is bolted to the running board, it forms a clamp against the car door sill. The concept works fine, except the instructions fail to mention that the hydraulic lines for the air suspension run in the exact place where you are placing your bracket clamps. The rear mounting points are factory threaded and require no modification. The front mounting points use an existing hole that needs to be drilled out to 1/2". Side steps look great installed. My two preschool children love them as it makes it much easier for them to get in and out of the car. During inclimate weather or when you have snow or mud on your snows, they will also allow you get most of the crud off your shoes - hopefully I can get my kids to do this - good luck with that."

"The quality is just great, it pays for its price. Easy to install, even though I am a newbie in car-upgrades, I was able to install in by myself. It took me around 3-4 hours, but at the end, I am loving it. It looks shavy (black tone), and it's really sturdy."
