The second generation of the Magentis was produced from 2006 to 2009. The vehicle got a more powerful petrol engine, and the Kia Magentis was available with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 103 kW/140 hp. The third generation was launched at the 2010 New York Auto Show. The new Kia Magentis was redesigned, so it looks futuristic and sporty.
