"This bumper guard is really sturdy and good looking. I installed it on our 2011 Jeep Liberty, and it is looking beefy. I feel sorry for the deer we run into in the mountains of the Eastern Sierra. Simple to install too."

"Took over a month to get them. Seems that it was a made to fit product. Received them packaged well. Seems like it took longer to get the box open and each of them unpacked than it did to install them. The only caveat is that the lower left mounting arm rubs a little on the hatch edge. I tried a few different things but couldn't get it adjusted to not rub. The other 3 points of potential rubbing are clear. Chatted with a couple guys on a Jeep forum that had the same issue. One said he just used a rubber mallet and "adjusted" it to fit. The other spoke with an "engineer" at Steelcraft and he returned the item. Not sure if he reordered them or not. Guess I'll have to get a rubber mallet and try a little "attitude adjustment" myself. For someone who orders them, the one thing I would do when installing them is do a quick check of the rub areas before pitching the packaging."

"I'll start off with the negative - picture was not representative of actual product. I chose this one for the headlight, lens, bars, but for my Jeep, they weren't there. However, installation took only an hour by myself and was very easy. It also has the mount holes with plus already installed for the fog lights out whatever you want to attach to it. Overall, I do recommend this product."

"This Grille Guard is an absolute steal at the price CARiD is asking for it. I installed this grille guard in about 25 minutes in my driveway with hand tools and no help (I know the directions say to get help but I was too excited to get this thing on my Jeep). I get compliments almost daily on how good my Jeep looks now. I would recommend this Grille Guard to anyone, and promise you that CARiD has the greatest bargain! This Grille Guard is Solid as a Rock!"

"This was my first order with CARID.com. I purchased this Black Horse Grill Guard from CARID mainly because they were the only website that listed this thing fitting a 2012 Jeep Liberty. I was pretty sure nothing had changed since 2011 but wanted to make sure. I received the order promptly and as others have reviewed it is well packeged by the manufacturer. Unfortunately UPS must have dropped it because the bottom bar was dented and bent once I opened it. Long story short CARID sent me out another one which arrived in the same packaging but unscathed this time. As far as the install, I was lucky enough to have a friend with a heated garage and a lift in it so it made things much easier. We installed this without removing any trim or the bumper but I have to admit he had a wrench that had multiple pivots and and air wrench so the regular joe might not be able to get at the bolts. You have to remove and cannot reinstall the factory tow hooks on a Jeep Liberty. Very easy install, place some threaded plates and bolt it up. I have since added some fog lights into the pre dilled holes and it looks great!"
