The XF supercharged version is provided with the unique Jaguar accessories, including a rich oak veneer and Jaguar suede cloth premium headlining. The new Portfolio model came in January 2009. The engine range included 3.0L V6 petrol engine, 3.0L V6 diesel and 3.0L V6 diesel S engines. The 2009 Portfolio model was not available in North America. New, highly-equipped 2010 XF Premium Portfolio trim joins the range of XF models available in the North American market. The Portfolio model has all-new naturally aspirated 5.0-liter AJ-V8 Gen III engine producing 385PS (283 kW; 380 hp). This new engine is the most efficient one. In comparison with the 4.2-liter V8 engine, the 5.0L engine power is enlarged by 29% and torque by 25%, the acceleration time is 0.8 seconds quicker. The interior design features contrast stitching on leather trim, deep-pile carpet mats with contrast edging, unique veneer and Jaguar suede cloth premium headlining.

The Jaguar XF became the Car of the Year in 2008, and the Best Executive Car in 2008 and 2009. The XF was awarded 2009 Semperit Irish Luxury car of the Year award.
